Job Title: Business Analyst

Role Description:

This role is a Business Analysts role working in the Commercial Card Technology team supporting Global projects and systems. The role will focus on the following responsibilities:

  • Testing and delivery of complex software requirements across base and initiative work to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
  • Generation of test plans, scripts and data preparation needs
  • Builds and executes both automated and manual test suites to be used for regression testing across the application suite
  • Record and communicate test results, and assist with triaging defects 
  • Creates and manages traceability from requirements to test conditions to implementation
  • Use testing tools and follow processes to complete testing on a given test environment, and assists with fulfilment of necessary steps required to promote code base to higher level environments
  • When part of a Project Scrum team, ensures stories are well refined and contain clear acceptance criteria  

The Team:

This is an expanding team with team mates located in APAC, EMEA, NA and Canada.

We manage all development across EMEA and APAC and participate in all Global initiatives.

We are still a relatively small team but have access and report to senior Execs across NA, EMEA and APAC Product and Technology.

Training will be provided across all the systems that we use, with initial focus on techniques in testing software. This role is a band 6 focusing on release management and testing. The career path within the team would be to develop into a traditional business analyst role where the role would engage in more aspects of project management. You will be joining an established team, delivering new technology solutions which are already securing Global awards for best in class.

Good analytical mind, process driven and well organised will assist you in understanding the environment, processes and systems you will be testing 

The following skill sets are preferred but not essential:

Knowledge of Credit Card processing and how the products work

Experience of writing user acceptance test scripts and execution of these
