Your background

  • At least 8 years of software development experience.
  • Hands-on experience in Mulesoft Anypoint platform development.
  • Hands-on experience in Java, J2EE, Spring , JMS.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL for Oracle DB .
  • Familiar with CICD tools:  Maven, BitBucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Ansible, JIRA.
  • Proficient with IBM MQ, IBM Connect:Direct and SFTP protocols.
  • Proficient in Weglogic/Websphere/Jboss.
  • Proficient in Junit, Cucumber.
  • Good knowledge of Integration Patterns, SOA concepts, REST services and REST API standards.
  • Knowledge of lean Agile and CICD is desirable. Must have experience being part of a Scrum team and familiar with agile routines.
  • Hands on experience in banking payment system and clearing integrations.
  • Experienced in message standards such as SWIFT & ISO2022.
  • Good knowledge of APAC Low Value, High Value, Real-Time Payment Clearing systems such as India NEFT/RTGS/UPI, MEPS, G3, HKICL, Indonesia SKN, Indonesia RTGS, etc.
  • Self-motivated and detailed-oriented.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

The “APAC - Payment and Core Cash Technology” team provides the Integration & Payment Orchestration technology support function for Bank of America Channels, core banking and clearing systems. This role will provide integration technology support for critical strategic initiatives in the Asia Region.  In addition, this position will provide regional development for the enterprise integration space to ensure the strategies are implemented across the globe

What you will do

This individual will be part of a development team primarily focused on design and development of shared services platform on payment processing. Working within a group of developers and architects and alongside peer analysts/ lead developers focused on achieving the business transformation goals related to payment products across Asia. Will work closely with product developers and operational partners to capture business requirements, participate in high level and low level designs and support implementation activities across a portfolio of initiatives.  The candidate must understand the business dynamics across Asia along with transaction banking

  • Analyze, design and develop Integration services between various bank systems, and external clearing systems/gateways.
  • Create custom modules, services and Adapters.
  • Prepare design documents, user guide, test scripts and other documents.
  • Will not have direct reports but may lead projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations.
  • May have responsibility for a project and project budget.
  • May collaborate with external teams to coordinate delivery of software application.
  • Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities.
  • Works under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants.
