Job Description

Provides administrative support to Settlement Officers (ESO) and Market Directors (ESMD) who manage a book of wealth transfer accounts. Working independently, but closely, with one or more SOs, will be responsible for accomplishing tasks consistent with policies and procedures, preparing internal and external documents related to account administration, and performing account maintenance activities and transactions, including but not limited to Client Relationship Workstation (CRW), Trust Web, PACE, Know your Customer (KYC) Tool, Interact, Administrative Review System (ARS), and Imaging Portal (FIRST).  Will coordinate with internal partners as directed (e.g., Tax, Compliance, and Specialty Asset Management).  Will have extensive client contact, including addressing client problems and concerns verbally and through written communication.  Will perform other administrative tasks such as filing, copying, telephone coverage, ordering supplies, drafting and mailing letters, etc. Non-licensed associate.

Provides support for both PACE and Merrill Lynch estates and trusts. Will have a dual workstation with the separate systems and platforms. Extensive contact with Financial Advisors, clients, and COIs.

Qualifications

•  BS/BA degree, Paralegal training, or equivalent experience desired

•  Excellent verbal and written skills required

•  Exceptional organizational skills

•  Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with minimum supervision while demonstrating teamwork and delivering client satisfaction

•  Working knowledge of Word and Excel required.

•  Working knowledge of PACE, Pierce, Trust Web, and CRW a plus.
