Role Description:

Here in our Dublin office we are looking to recruit for a Quality Test Engineer/QA role within our Strategic Asset Liability Management Technology (SALMT) space.

The team is responsible for delivering cash management, forecasting & funding solutions for treasury globally.

We are looking for a team player who brings a testing mindset with a heavy focus on automated testing.

Our technology stack is Java, Spring, Python, Angular, Kafka and relational DB. 

We follow an agile methodology. 
Our business is regulated and our solutions must comply with those regulations.

We are looking for a candidate:

  • Experience in testing planning & execution, both manual and automated testing.

  • Is familiar with developing detailed, comprehensive & well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional and compliance requirements.

  • Can lead test planning, usually at an agile team level, ensuring stories are well refined and contain clear acceptance criteria.

  • Has strong web application, API & web services testing experience.

  • Can identify automation opportunities, develop test automation for applicable test types &  is familiar with test automation tool set like UFT, Selenium, Tosca, RAFT

  • Can communicate effectively.

  • Wants to learn, seeking to understand before insisting to be understood.

  • Can become part of a team.  Team members support each other to deliver.

  • Familiar with all or some of the following technologies, Java, Spring, Angular, JavaScript, Python, Relational DBs and Kafka.

  • Enthusiastic about emerging technology, team dynamics and building/maintaining a positive working environment.

  • Experience of capital markets or banking – although not an essential requirement.

    The Team:

    Our teams are usually 7 developers with 1QA and BA resource, the team’s responsibility is:

  • To break down software EPICs into smaller problems and to design solutions for those problems.

  • To ensure all solutions are testable, can be asserted as correct and can be accepted in our releases.

  • To code unit tests to assert our designs and write code to pass our unit tests.

  • To integrate with our development environments and release to production.

  • To innovate and improve our technology and processes.

    Core Skills:

  • Strong web application, API & web services testing experience.

  • Knowledge of defect management process.

  • Familiar with test automation tool set like UFT, Selenium, Tosca, RAFT

  • Familiar with all or some of the following technologies, Java, Spring, Angular, JavaScript, Python, Relational DBs and Kafka.
