Global Securities Loan Operations Senior Analyst

Job Description:

Responsible for performing loan servicing and operational support functions for several Global Mortgages LOB's. Candidate must be able to offer premium Client service and manage the relationships between our internal and external clients. This is a fast paced client driven environment which requires attention to detail and the associate to prioritize and analyze the situation to perform the correct oversight and review processes.     Accurate and timely review for payment processing, reporting and oversight controls are critical to this role.  Team uses various credit or operating systems (e.g. ACBS, LoanRunner, Cash Manager/FPS) This role also requires analytical reporting for Loan documentation review , breaks analysis and resolution.  Other responsibilities may include training of associates, project work, creation of new procedures and reviews of existing procedures, operational risk and control analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Validation of various loan documentation for data integrity and funding conditions to ensure approvals for accurate and timely disbursement of funds.

  • Monitoring team mailbox for timely processing of loan commitments, interest payments, and fee payments.

  • Management oversight of syndicated loan facilities where we are agent. These facilities include foreign currency and Letters of credit transactions.

  • Management oversight periodic rate changes, rate rollovers, advances, collateral, invoicing, repayments, and other loan agreement modifications.

  • Management oversight and signoff for reporting and reconciliation monitoring.

  • Management oversight and escalation and resolution of operational and risk issues.

  • Involvement in projects for new processes, system functionality or industry initiatives

  • Reconciliation breaks monitoring and investigation, resolution and escalation

Required Skills:

  • 1-3 years of operations experience.

  • Excellent communications skills.

  • Knowledge of Operational Risk.

  • Proficiency with numbers, calculations and excel to ensure accurate loan commitments; interest payments and fee payments for review and processing.

  • Ability to analyze, identify and resolve operational issues/escalations. 

  • Ability to work under pressure while working and responding well in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised. Candidate will be responsible to manage own time and know when to escalate.

  • Ability to liaise with all levels of the firm and people with different experiences and backgrounds.
