Overview

Position Summary: Wholesale Credit Natural Language Processing (WCNLP) ecosystem leverages Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning technologies running on distributed systems to unlock data insights from documents and other unstructured data sources to enable Global Banking data analytics & intelligent automation.

We are seeking Senior Systems Engineer responsible for building and maintaining Container, Cloud & Hadoop based distributed system, Release coordination and Application support including designing, developing automation solutions, code review, troubleshooting code and configuration issues, monitoring and maintaining systems, Linux server administration & Dev Ops integration

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years, experience in Information Technology
  • Hands on experience working with Distributed systems– Hadoop, HDFS, HBase
  • Hands on experience with Containerization & Cloud technologies (OpenShift, Azure, Kubernetes & Docker)
  • Experienced with distributed frameworks such as Kafka, Zookeeper, Elastic Search, Splunk
  • Hands on programming experience with Python, Java, REST services, Shell scripting etc.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases – Oracle, MinIO, PostgreSQL. Able to write complex queries
  • Experience with release coordination and supporting CI/CD tools (e.g., Bitbucket /Jenkins/Artifactory/ Datical/XLR/Ansible)
  • Experience supporting Linux servers with Apache, JBoss, SSL configurations
  • Excellent problem solving & troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience with Agile/Lean SDLC development

Desired Skills:

  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to solve complex problems independently.
  • Strong coordination skills. Must be able to work with technology partners in a wide range of engagements
  • Experience with AI / ML technologies is a plus
  • Experience in JIRA is a plus
