Cyber Security Technology (CST) is a globally distributed team responsible for cyber security innovation and architecture, engineering, solutions and capabilities development, cyber resiliency, access management engineering, data strategy, deployment maintenance, technical project management and information technology security control support.

We invite you to join the Global Information Security Cyber Security Identity and Engineering team at Bank of America as a Systems Engineer focusing on digital identity lifecycle and core PKI technologies. We are a tight-knit, supportive community focused on delivering the best experience for our customers while remaining sensitive to their unique needs. In this role, you will be using the experience you have gained throughout your career to provide hands-on operational deployment and support for commercial and custom software applications. While mainly working within Microsoft and Linux environments, you will be an individual contributor responsible for researching, designing, engineering, implementing, and supporting information security technologies. 

Required Skillset: 
• Design, test, implement changes/additions to Venafi Certificate Management system and associated PKI Infrastructure. 
• In-depth knowledge of the various phases of the Digital Certificate Lifecycle Management
• Experience with Venafi, MS ADCS, Entrust, Digicert
• Strong understanding of PKI and general cryptography concepts and libraries.  • Strong understanding of Protocols and Industry technology standards, e.g TLS/SSL, IPSEC, x509, SMIME, PKCS#
• Systems Engineering and Deployment experience 
• Proficient in Windows and Linux access systems 
• In-depth knowledge of the various phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle 
• Knowledge of database systems (MS SQL)
• Knowledge of policy-based and risk adaptive access controls. 
• Must be able to identify, analyze and address problems to resolve issues whenever possible in way that minimizes negative impact and risk to the organization 
• A broad knowledge of information security principles and industry NIST security frameworks.   
• Ability to work independently on initiatives with little oversight 
• Motivated and willing to learn 
• Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking 
• Must be comfortable in delivering messages across a wide spectrum of individuals having varying degrees of technical understanding 
• Proficient in REST API, scripting, and programming Languages, such as Powershell, JAVA, C#,  and Python 
 

Enterprise description overview: Participates in design, development and implementation of systems engineering activities, to include OS technical support, systems programming and data center capabilities. Responsible for components of complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities. Assists in establishment of input/output processes and working parameters for hardware compatibility and coordination of subsystems design and integration of total system. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; provides tech knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor. Will not have direct reports but will influence and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. Provides input on staffing, budget and personnel. Typically 5 or more years of systems engineering experience.
