Business Control Specialist - IAM EPO Business Analyst

Job Description:

The Business Analyst will deliver data driven analyses - themes/trends, applying data analytics concepts to assess effectiveness and to report performance. The ideal candidate will be intellectually curious and have a background in data analyses, as well as leveraging Tableau to turn data into meaningful and actionable reporting.


The Business Analyst is responsible for:
• Analytical support for compliance and operational risk related initiatives
• Developing, maintaining, and managing data analytics, reporting, dashboards, and other Business Intelligence solutions relevant to identity and access management.
• Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design
• Provide organizational performance reporting, monitoring of key metrics and coordinate development, tracking and execution of remediation action plans

Enterprise Role Overview:
The Business Analyst is responsible for providing business metric and program analysis, report management, and project support at several different levels. The position requires the incumbent to have diverse administrative expertise and to oversee various policies, programs, and initiatives, to be able to think strategically, as well as perform in a proactive manner with limited supervision. The position also requires the individual to build and maintain relationships with field management, and work closely with other organizations within the LOB.

Required Skills
• Ability to manage large data sets, develop reports and troubleshoot data issues from single or multiple systems.
• Proficiency in use of data query and reporting analysis tools; excel (macros, pivot tables, lookups)
• Experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics.
• Ability to analyze data to draw business-relevant conclusions utilizing data visualization techniques and tools
• Ability to respond to ad-hoc requests for information from team members and other requestors by asking questions, identifying relevant data needed to satisfy the request
• Advanced analytical skills that demonstrate ability to learn how to navigate systems, access data, reconcile numbers from different sources, identify discrepancies and understand drivers of change within data
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical business teams
• Bachelor's Degree

Desired Skills
• 3 – 5 years organizational skills and/or compliance & risk management experience
• Knowledge of info security themes, IAM capabilities, methods & tools
• Risk mindset with the ability to challenge the status quo
• Ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities
• Problem solver with ability to take ownership of tasks and drive through challenges
• High attention to detail and quality work product(s)
• Strong business partnering experience / skills including the ability to interact, communicate and influence equally well within all levels of an organization
• Solid understanding of SQL, relational databases
