Operations FX Specialist

Job Description:

Global Banking and Markets Operations group searches for an Operations FX Specialist (AVP Level)

This position will support Global Banking and Markets Operations team by processing end to end services and comprehensive financial services solutions for Foreign Exchange product. This includes guaranteeing accurate and timely processing, allocation, confirmation of business transactions and support across business and clients. 

Responsibilities:

  • Guarantees all the FX transactions are being processed within the guideline of product program and agreed in the published SLA;
  • Analyses documentation and registers deals in FX system (Exchange) and Brazilian Central Bank;
  • Issues and controls FX contracts and documentation receipt;
  • Performs and controls Proof of Underlying documents screening and third party payments due diligence;
  • Controls and performs reconciliation of the NOSTRO accounts in foreign currency and requests the accounting in BRL;
  • Processes foreign investors transactions (Resolution 4373), identifying the accounts of each client, organizing related documents and participate in trade affirmations;
  • Executes tests in versions migration of the system Exchange;
  • Prepares KCSA and responds to operational risk demands;
  • Responds to clients queries related to FX product and to perform callback;
  • Controls and escalates the presentation of overdue declarations of importations and exportation registers.

Core skills and requirements:

  • +5 years of previous experience in Operations or other correlated areas of Financial institutions is required;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or related courses desired;
  • Advanced English is mandatory;
  • Strong Excel skills (VBA programming is a plus);
  • Motivated, pro-active, multi-tasking and with ability to work in groups and manage conflicts;
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and responsibilities;
  • Ability to independently analyze complex issues, identify and execute on practical solutions;
  • Proactively shares information/ideas and consistently identifies best practices;
  • Ability to understand and desire to know how your role impacts the overall process.
