Reporting Standardization Engineer

Job Description:

The Reporting Standardization Engineer will innovate, and help deliver reporting standardization across Global Banking and Risk and Finance technology while following industry best practices and providing capability maturity in support of reporting framework. Support reporting execution team who will be tasked with all of the building and tooling coming from the design team. Ability to describe, analyze and visualize data using cutting edge technologies, as well as describing complex technical information to non- technical professionals. Candidate must be highly skilled in all aspect of end to end data mining and reporting. Candidate needs to be able to understand macro level requirements and convert them into actionable tasks to deliver a technically sound product. Candidate should be able to work in teams in a collaborative manner.

Required Skills:

  • Basic eSMART/MicroStrategy Skills

  • SharePoint Development

  • Basic understanding of ITSM Remedy

  • Experience working in all Tableau environments (Dev, UAT, Prod)

  • Proficient in Excel along with macro development

  • SQL Service Development Experience

  • Basic Project Management Skills

  • Ability to handle multiple projects at one time

  • Excellent Communication Skills

Desired Skills

  • Exposure to Relational Database Management Systems using Oracle, DB2 or SQL Server

  • Advanced SQL skills

  • SharePoint Development

Participates in design, development and implementation of systems engineering activities, to include OS technical support, systems programming and data center capabilities. Responsible for components of complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities. Assists in establishment of input/output processes and working parameters for hardware compatibility and coordination of subsystems design and integration of total system. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; provides tech knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor. Will not have direct reports but will influence and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations. Provides input on staffing, budget and personnel. Typically 5 or more years of systems engineering experience.
