Program Lead

Charlotte, North Carolina;

Job Description:

The Program Lead will be responsible for oversight of a large workstream of projects related to the Wholesale Credit Strategy implementation that have significant impact on business processes impacting Client and Employee experience. Resource will interact with a broad spectrum of stakeholders to execute high visibility books of work.

• Accountability for multiple initiatives which impact a diverse stakeholder group

• Communicating and interacting with stakeholders both vertically and horizontally to drive initiatives to conclusion

• Accountability for developing plans to deliver future-state approaches and facilitating implementation

• Ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor solutions to ensure deadlines are met and risks are addressed

• Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows.

• Develop project schedule and milestones. Manage and report on progress against plan

•Identify and manage project risks and issues.

•Ability to run effective meetings, work shops and off-sites with different levels of management.

•Coordinate training with adoption team.

•Produce or assist in the production of business cases, including financial modeling and forecasting. Obtain approval to proceed.

•Coordinate business process migrations, as necessary.

•Define Current State vs Target State operating models with detailed GAP Analysis

•Support acceptance testing in line with testing strategy.

*Required Skills: “Must” have these skills to be minimally qualified.

• 4+ plus years of project management experience preferred

• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines

• Ability to connect business outcomes with operational and technological considerations

• Strong detail orientation and a willingness to synthesize diverse ideas into tangible action plans

• Insight to identify gaps and execution risks and escalate as appropriate

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience working in multiple Bank lines of business, ideally with exposure to product, strategy development, and transition-like execution

• Strong, confident presentation skills, the ability to synthesize information, and communicate clearly and succinctly with stakeholders

• Ability to effectively navigate a highly matrixed organization •Competent with MS products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio

Desired Skills:

• Understanding of Bank of America Enterprise Change Standards, Policy and Tools

• PMP or six-sigma certification is a plus, but not a requirement

• Wholesale Credit experience
