Job Description:

Job Title: Software Engineer - Credit Desk Risk Reporting team

Corporate Title: Vice President

Location: London King Edward Street

Role Description:

The role is a Software Engineer in the Credit Technology Risk and Reporting team supporting the EMEA Credit Trading desk. 

The responsibilities include:

Designing software components and documenting the designs

Implementing, testing, and releasing software components according to the SDLC processes adopted by the team

Providing level 3 support for the applications in our remit, including troubleshooting and remediating issues in production systems

The Team:

The EMEA Credit Risk and Reporting team is a small team that works directly with traders and quants on the Credit Trading desk.  We are part of a broader global team with staff in New York, India, and Hong Kong

Core Skills:

Required Skills:

Excellent experience in Fixed Income

Experience with Python or other dynamically typed language

SQL development experience on relational databases

Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment systems and experience with TDD methodologies

Experience working in an Agile environment

A disciplined thinker and capable of working across organizational boundaries in a very demanding, high-output environment

Excellent spoken and written English, clear oral communication skills

Desired Skills:

Experience with JavaScript (especially React)

Proficiency with Git
