Process Design Consultant I

Job Description:

Become a member of the team transforming the way Bank of America implements wholesale credit. This opportunity engages with team members and business partners to analyze, implement, and update business processes by utilizing process improvement models and techniques. Works with business subject matter experts to design or redesign business processes, revise procedures and update maps. Integrates best practices found within the businesses while also creating new and better ways of organizing work. Builds action plans to drive execution. Must have the ability to manage multiple, time sensitive projects at the same time. Will use influence skills to lead teams to achieve process or project objectives.

This role is part of the Wholesale Credit Strategy team with focus on business platform process and process improvement.  Requires ability to communicate clearly and concisely with partners and senior leaders.

This position will interact with business users as well as platform, technology and project management teams. The ability to plan, drive and lead teams to results is critical. The successful candidate will be an intellectually curious self-starter with a proven track record of achieving/ delivering results.

Required Skills:

o      3+ years Finacial Services Experience

o      Familiar with Commercial or Wholesale credit

o      Knowledge of credit systems and processes

o      Strong Analytical/ Reporting Skills - intermediate Excel

o      Strong communication - intermediate Power Point skills

o      Ability to work independently and achieve results

o      Highly organized and able to effectively multi-task

o      Demonstrated ability to establish relationships with partners / peers

o      Process map development and design skills - intermediate Visio

Desired Skills:

o      5+ years in a Credit or Credit Operations role

o      Consulting, change mgt or project mgt experience

o      Green Belt or Black Belt certified

o      Graduate Degree
