Sr. Operations Consultant (Leasing Collateral and Doc Retention) - Chicago, IL

Enterprise Overview: Responsible for the day-to-day resolution of complex problems and the execution of complex transactions for multiple sites or larger business unit(s), including research. Leads in the design, development and implementation of complex products, systems and services in an operations environment. Manages projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives of an operations nature. Functions as the technical expert in their assigned area. Major accountabilities are based on individual expertise and capabilities. Provides work direction, guidance and expertise to less experienced associates and provides training to associates and Business Partners on new and complex initiatives. Builds strong relationships with Business Partners across LOBs. Has in-depth understanding of the business unit's operations processes and implications on other groups within the operations function and other divisions within the company. Knowledge acquired through increasingly responsible operations analysis work. Clearly recognized as a content expert by peers. Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred.

LOB Job Description:

Manage complex reporting design, data analysis, data feeds, and systems for Leasing Collateral and Doc Retention.  Will create and manage all ad hoc, daily, monthly and quarterly reporting along with required analysis and reconciliation.  Completion of monthly metrics, capacity model data, title trust comparison reporting and many others, including all audit, regulatory and compliance reporting. Incumbent will manage a number of custom processes that improve efficiency, i.e. in-house labeling processes, data preparation of large portfolios (i.e. 10,000 documents) to import to Imaging system. Will be the key associate handling the design and the transition of Collateral and Doc Retention functions to ALFA and perform testing for all systems and upgrades.  Will need to  have a solid understanding of all Collateral functions and  processes.  Liaison for department in creating and maintaining departmental procedures and managing special projects.  Responsible for inline Quality Assurance for UCC collateral releases and non UCC releases. Management of Collateral systems, Global Fulfillment System (GFS), EOriginal Vault.

Required skills:

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint with at least 4 years’ experience in all of these Microsoft products.

  • Ability to perform high end functions in Excel  including macros and complex formulas

  • In-depth knowledge of Sequel programming and Visual Basic are required skills

  • Proficient in Report writing with at least 3-5 years’ experience writing complex queries

  • Visual Basic (VBA) and SQL

  • Demonstrated organizational skills (time management, multi-task, prioritize)

  • Customer service focus

  • Proven problem solving abilities

  • Clear and articulate oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to make independent decisions

  • Mature and professional attitude
