Ops Sr Analyst MKTS

Enterprise Overview:

Team is responsible for performing loan servicing operational functions for the Global Mortgages Origination and Lending Desks. Candidate must be on hand to offer premium Client service and manage the relationships between our internal and external clients. This is a fast paced client driven environment which requires attention to detail and the associate to prioritize and analyze the situation to perform the correct process.     Accurate and timely data input to various credit or operating systems is required (e.g. LIQ, ACBS, LoanRunner, FPS and Cash Manager).  This role also requires analytical reporting for collateral monitoring and loss analysis.

Responsibilities:

Validation of various loan documentation for data integrity and funding conditions to ensure accurate and timely disbursement of funds.

Validation and processing of new issue loan commitments, renewals, interest and fee payments, reallocations, collateral booking and monitoring.

Management of syndicated loan facilities where we are agent. These facilities include foreign currency and Letters of credit transactions.

Manage periodic rate changes, advances, invoicing, repayments, processing of loan commitments to securitization and other loan agreement modifications.

Oversight reporting and reconciliation monitoring including cash and past due invoicing

Input wire instructions while attending to dual controls

Involvement in ad hoc projects for new processes or industry initiatives

Reconciliation breaks investigation, resolution and escalation.

Requirements:

Proficiency with numbers, calculations and excel to ensure accurate loan commitments; interest payments and fee payments are recorded.

Ability to analyze and resolve operational issues, multi-task and flexible with performing daily task functions. 

Ability to work under pressure while working and responding well in a cross-functional team environment.

Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised. Candidate will be responsible to manage own time and know when to escalate.

Ability to liaise with all levels of the firm and people with different experiences and backgrounds.

Excellent communications skills and knowledge of Operational Risk, Oversight and controls

Candidate will have 3+ years of Loan Servicing or Operations background or comparable experience
