.NET Developer

Job Description:

The .NET Developer should be capable of developing, enhancing, debugging, supporting, maintaining and testing software applications that support business units or supporting functions.

This role may provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives, while serving as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource and expert in UI, as well as server-side technologies. 

This role may drive a project or a solution, and partner with various external teams including external developers, business and deployment teams.

Required Skills:

10+ years of experience in full stack development; designing and building applications.

Experience with .NET, DB2, NSPs,  SQL  Asp.net, C#,WCF Web Services, XSLT API development, Angular/Java script and other client side scripting frameworks.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA) is a big plus

Familiarity with Jira, BitBucket (Git based), Jenkins open source Ansible Tower is a plus.

Ability to develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications that support business units or supporting functions.

Fully seasoned/proficient technical resource and lead.

Collaboration with external programmers to coordinate the delivery of software applications.

Strong facilitation and communication skills, both verbal and written, is a must.

Strong track record of building high-volume, mission critical pricing and risk engines with emphasis on modular services.

               

Desired Skills:

UI frameworks

Experience in XSLFO, PDF generation and chart creation

Experience with MuleSoft

Wireframing and UI prototyping

Experience with messaging - Kafka

ETL experience

General Job Description:

Responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals.

Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.

Codes solutions, unit tests, and ensures the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces.

Familiar with development and testing practices of the bank. Contributes to story refinement/defining requirements.

Participates and guides team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.

Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.

Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.

Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements.

Assists team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.

Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance); Analyzes test reports, identifies any test issues/errors;

Triages the underlying cause.

Documents and communicates required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.

Participates, contributes and can coach team members in the delivery/release (CI-CD) events. e.g. branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes.
