UX Experience Design Strategist

As an Experience Design Strategist, you should have:

·        Experience in enterprise wide UX strategy methodologies.

·        A foundation in the overall user-centered design process.

·        Expert communication and story-telling skills with the ability to get buy-in on your ideas within a large organization. 

·        Proficiency at identifying the middle point where business goals harmoniously meet user engagement and excitement.

·        Gain in-depth understanding of the domain.

 

·        Active evaluation and recommendation of remediation for high impact products & tools supporting value innovation.

·        Use strategy workshops & visualization mapping and to understand “big picture” goals in order to define a roadmap to delivery.

  • Collection and communication of behavioral and attitudinal UX metrics against established LOB benchmarks.

  • Oversight across initiatives within a line of business to ensure alignment to business vision.

  • Reduction in duplicative work and adoption of reusable components and patterns.

  • Consistent alignment to brand and accessibility guidelines. 

  • Streamlined, reusable processes.
     

You will

  • Define, create, and maintain the UX vision and strategy on a variety of projects in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Work with senior and executive leadership crafting vision and strategy.
     
  • Collaborate with EXD teammates, project stakeholders, technology partners, and executive leadership to identify requirements, set design goals, study users, and craft solutions that translate business and user needs into highly engaging experiences.
     
  • Deliver proper documentation and supporting illustrations to develop high-quality user flows and end-to-end experiences that reflect, maintain, and contribute to our design principles and practices.

You’re a person who has

  • 5+ years of experience in a UX strategist or related role.
  • Proven experience solving complex problems and designing world-class experiences for large-scale enterprise programs.
  • Extensive understanding of overall UX process and software development methodologies, including Agile.
  • A high degree of creativity, empathy, passion, and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong visual design and attention to leading industry trends
  • Proficiency with tools like Mural, Axure, Sketch, InVision, and alike.
  • Vigor and passion about understanding the target audience

 You’ll be better prepared if you have

  • Bachelors, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience, or a
    design-related field, or equivalent education and related training / certification.
  • Experience planning, facilitating and participating in design/strategy
    mapping workshops.
  • Financial or similar enterprise experience.

General Job Description:

Responsible for ensuring products provide a meaningful and relevant experience to users.

Guides the entirety of the design process through completion by presenting to stakeholders and working along side the development team to ensure accurate implementation and compliance to enterprise brand and accessibility standards.

Creates user-centered, simple and moderns designs, which are desirable and efficient multi-channel experiences.

Works closely with the users, stakeholders, and Product Owner to develop a cohesive and consistent user experience, and increase user satisfaction.

Creates innovative solutions that generate significant value for the client.

Leads/oversees all of the user experience and design aspects of a product.

Anticipates user needs, advocates for them and ensures the final product delights them.

Independently designs and run user research to derive insights and add context.

Synthesizes the user research data to articulate customer needs, and create tangible solutions for user-centered design.

Facilitates innovation, design thinking, and design studio workshops to create digital experiences.

Develops concept sketches and storyboards, detailed interaction designs and screen flows, functional specifications, and prototypes to clearly articulate solutions.

Expert in the banks brand and effectively applies the brand to visual designs.

Ensures that the solution in development aligns to best practices, brand consistency, and standards including accessibility.

Collaborates with the development team to ensure designs are feasible to implement and subsequently implemented accurately, and assists with accessibility requirements.

Leads concept and usability testing and synthesizes the results to validate and improve solution design.

Tracks user experience metrics and reports on the success of improvements. Mentors more junior Experience Designers.
