Job Description

The Sr. Operations Representative within Transfer Processing & Funds Trade Support, is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate payment of all dividend distributions and reinvestments for their assigned mutual fund companies. This involves creating and maintaining distribution calendars for both domestic and international fund groups, monitoring email communications from fund agents, creating transactions within the dividend system for downstream processing, and preparing trade logs for manual dividend reinvestments. Responsibilities may also include analyzing various quality control reports, researching ledger variances, and maintaining distribution metrics. The Sr. Operations Representative is also expected to build strong relationships with numerous internal and external entities in order to support and improve dividend processing.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strict attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Must be available to work extended hours during periods of high volume

Desired Skills:

  • Prior mutual fund or corporate action experience
  • A good understanding of general ledger accounting (i.e. debits and credits)
