Job Title: Product Owner – Tech Delivery

Corporate Title: Vice President

Location:  Dublin

Role Description:

  • Collaborates and sets expectations with Product Owners, stakeholders, customers, architects
  • Prioritizes Features and negotiates Enablers in the Program Backlog using WSJF
  • Sets the Vision and Roadmap for the train
  • Has significant people skills and the innate ability to navigate the political landscape
  • Collaborates with the train to set scope. Accepts the Features as done
  • Content authority for the SAFe Product Backlog.
  • Prioritizes work, schedules features and capabilities for releases.
  • Develop and communicate the program vision and roadmap.
  • Participate in Program Increment planning, presenting a vision and roadmap, highlighting key features and milestones.
  • Define EPICS, features and capabilities to be completed in Program Increments.
  • Continuously refine the Program Backlog
  • Coordinate the Front Door Flash Estimates

The Team:

The Candidate will be a member of the Payments and Innovation Product Management team.  We support a global train with current presence in APAC, AMRS and EMEA regions.  As a team we will collaborate internally and externally (Business, Arch, TI, etc) to build the best products.  We drive the Vision and Roadmap for the train.   We are newly formed and are excited about the possibility going forward.

The Candidate will have the opportunity to get certified as Agile SAFE Product Owner/Manager. 

Core Skills:

  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience required.
  • 3 years of Experience with JIRA and AgileView – leaning toward expert.
  • 2 years of Banking Experience.
  • Experience with Sharepoint is a plus.
  • Experience with and understanding of agile/scrum methodologies, principles, and practices.
  • Experience with agile, iterative development process.
  • 10 years of experience in a variety of product management roles including acting as a Agile Product Owner.
  • Ability to document detailed product concepts in the context of user needs, business impacts, and technical requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights.
