What you can expect

Associate Investment Monitoring (AIM) is an Enterprise Area of Coverage (EAC) Compliance function responsible for administrating the corporation’s associate investment monitoring policies in the region. The role will include reviewing trade requests, managing employee investment accounts, outside business activity and private investment disclosures, onboarding new hire covered employees and identifying/ escalating employee misconduct issues and trends. The AIM Specialist as a subject matter expert will be responsible for providing compliance program coverage and oversight on specific laws, rules, regulations relating to AIM through identification, escalation and timely mitigation of compliance risks in accordance with the Compliance Risk Management Program and Global Compliance Enterprise Policy. In addition, the AIM Specialist contributes to the requirements in the Global Compliance Enterprise Policy, working with compliance officers for the FLU and Control Functions to complete those requirements, including but not limited, create and maintain regulatory inventory, develop and maintain relevant policies and procedures, develop and execute monitoring and testing routine and provide Compliance training.

What you will do

  • Manage the AIM processes - reviewing trade requests, assisting with the processing of employee investment account, outside business activity and private investment disclosures, onboarding new hire covered employees and identifying/ escalating employee misconduct issues and trends.
  • Create and maintain laws, rules, regulations related to AIM in the regulatory inventory in APAC
  • Contribute to monitoring and testing coverage plans for AIM and related metrics. Identify aggregate, report and escalate compliance risks, issues and control enhancements for FLU
  • Identify compliance training needs and inspect Front Line Unit for enterprise area of coverage
  • Identification of and participation in process improvement and manage regulatory change projects; working with lines of business and external partners on special projects.
  • Assist in creating and implementing additional processes to address regulatory changes and expectations
  • Assist in handling regulatory inquires and escalate regulatory relations concerns to Compliance Manager or Executive
