Cloud Virtualization Operations Administrator– VMware

Position Summary

The role is an exciting, challenging and rewarding role for a dynamic network virtualization technologist with a desire for delivering virtualized network capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support, input on Bank of America Cloud development, advanced troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with SLAs, and architectural design and management of overall health of the internal cloud/automated services running within Bank of America Cloud environments. The successful candidate will interact directly with Engineering, CTOs/LOBs, and vendor community as the lead point of contact to ensure continuity and customer satisfaction, and availability of Bank of America Cloud services running within the Bank.

Required Skills:

  • At least 2 - 4 years of networking experience within an enterprise environment
  • At least 2 - 4 years of experience with VMWare, storage and virtualization
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including software defined networking in a virtualized compute environment
  • Excellent debugging/troubleshooting skills
  • Hands on experience with Installation, configuration, and maintenance of VMware vRealize products/environments
  • Ability to see and present "the big picture" and offer solutions for improvement
  • Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate projects/task.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant years of experience
