Job Description:

Position Summary

This position is supporting the GWIM client-facing platforms - My Merrill, Merrill Edge and Benefits Online.  The Scrum Master is responsible for supporting multiple software development Agile Scrum teams.  This includes facilitating team routines such as the daily stand-up, sprint reviews, product demos, team retrospectives and Feature/Story grooming.  The Scrum Master will support the team in self organizing and remove obstacles where needed while working closely with external tech teams and Product Owners on to execute the business strategy/vision.  In addition, the Scrum Master will provide support as needed to the RTE and Program Manager to drive continuous improvement.  Other responsibilities include support as needed for PI planning and communities of practice as well as reporting team status to the Portfolio on a regular basis.

• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certified with 3 – 5 years prior Lean Agile Scrum Master experience
• Detail oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong people management and negotiation skills  
• Ability to promote self-organizing and Agile practices through empowering and enabling the teams always seeking continuous improvement
• Ability to manage multiple priorities for concurrent initiatives effectively
• Familiar with distributed and web-based applications
• Proficient in JIRA, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project"
Desired Skills
"Experience in managing multiple scaled Scrum teams and working with multiple lines of business.
Previous Merrill Lynch/GWIM technology experience is a plus.
