Job Title: Issuer Services Operations Manager

An opportunity exists for a talented individual to manage the Issuer Services team and support global clients as they access international debt capital markets. The Issuer Services team is responsible for the issuance of new debt securities including the management of life cycle events across various asset types including Euro Commercial Paper, Euro Certificate of Deposits and European Medium Term Notes. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating the Issuing and Paying Agent and Common Depository and will be the primary contact for internal businesses, clients, and all parties involved in the issuance of securities including issuers, dealers, central security depositories, calculation agents, and exchanges.

Responsibilities:

  • Issuance of new securities on international debt capital markets for internal and external clients.

  • Manage the front to back trade flow for this process: trade capture, matching and settlement, setup of new securities based on term sheets, requests of ISIN codes and listing to stock exchanges.

  • Manage high value and time sensitive payments to issuers and depositories, in various currencies using a network of local agent banks.

  • Manage life cycle events such as dividends, interests, redemptions and corporate actions on all assets under administration. Ensure accurate and timely processing of all rate fixings from Calculation Agents.

  • Build relationships with clients and the ICSDs (Euroclear and Clearstream), deliver for them on a daily basis and look for opportunities to continue to improve the level of service, reduce risks and improve process efficiency.

  • Deliver projects and system changes in partnership with the GCAS business, tech support teams and an application vendor.

  • Regulatory reporting of all in-scope events to the Bank of England.

  • Leading a Dublin based team of 10 FTE with 2 additional offshore team members.  People management responsibilities; including 1:1s, goal settings and appraisals.
