Business Support Manager (Merchant Services) CSWO

Job Description:

Line of Business Role Description

  • Manages diverse administrative functions usually for a very large, complex department or business unit.
  • Functions managed may include:
  • Key point of contact to merchant partners
  • Respond to requests from key program stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities process improvements, automation across Business Governance Team
  • Utilize key metric analysis to enhance processes  within the team
  • Development and support for Business Governance SharePoint site
  • Monthly Business Review prep
  • Ownership of team communications, including management and execution of weekly team meetings
  • Manual process inventory management
  • Partner with BSMs across frontline teams to identify issues, concerns, risks Business Governance needs to address
  • Ensure compliance and execution of all Change Management deliverables and leads process improvement ideation and execution program for Enterprise Merchant Operations
  • Requires a thorough knowledge of the department or business unit's functional area or products
  • Working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures and financial/accounting practices

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of organizational and business support experience
  • Experience or strong knowledge of operational support functions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Candidate should exhibit strong personal drive, individual initiative, a sense of urgency, and responsiveness
  • Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of risk, support, and business partners
  • Ability to work independently to troubleshoot issues
  • Strong Proficiency with  Excel, and PowerPoint, along with ability to quickly learn new programs and applications
  • Attention to detail with a strong focus on control
  • Well-organized and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Self-starter and ability to think and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with others in different locations
  • Proven history of applying to critical thinking to drive change
  • Ability to think logically
