Process Overview*

The Data Analytics Strategy platform and decision tool team is responsible for Data strategy for entire CSWT and development of platforms which supports the Data Strategy. GWIM Channel analytics team brings AI & ML-driven experience to clients by providing personalized and relevant web contents based on user behavior and historical digital data.

Job Description

A Quality specialist is a team member who brings a ‘testing mindset’ to the team, and is responsible for testing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes. They are a subject matter expert on testing practices ensuring the testing strategy and processes are well-defined and continuously improved for the team or teams. Key responsibilities of the role include establishing a test and automation strategy, creating common test frameworks, defining and managing test processes including defect management and reporting. A Quality specialist is an individual contributor to a team. The person will also be involved into providing support for their own built frameworks and helping developers to fix the challenges in the code.

Responsibilities*

  • Ability to design new or enhance existing framework for  test automation
  • Works closely with the QA, Development and BA teams
  • Partners with cross business \ functional QA & Controls programs and teams
  • Define, document, implement and review test criteria for assigned components
  • Ability to analyze results and efficiently communicating these back to the development team
  • Possess a high level of analytical and creative skills
  • Understand business priorities and strategize with onshore managers on future work possibilities and growth path
  • Participate and provide suggestions in global technical design forums
  • Be a seasoned and proficient technical resource
  • Flexibility in adapting to team requirements
  • Ensuring adherence to development standards, best practices
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and possesses analytical skills
  • Learn new technologies when directed as future development may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools
  • Work in a fast paced agile environment, under minimal supervision, with guidance from senior team members
  • Effectively convey message in both written and verbal development discussions
  • Participate in mandatory training and cross functions across team
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and zeal to acquire domain knowledge
  • Will participate in application planning, daily standup & retrospective meetings
  • Should analyze users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.

Requirements*

Education* - BE/ B. Tech/MCA /M.S./M. Tech as per company standards

Certifications If Any – Not mandatory.

Experience Range*- 5 -7  Years

Foundational skills* -

  • Automation testing, Python, Oracle PL/SQL, Qtest, Java,
  • UFT, Tosca
  • Awareness of QA concepts like test life cycle
  • Performed end-to-end automation of functional and regression tests.
  • Performed data reconciliation/validation using automation.
  • Passionate, proactive, analytical thinking,  independent but very collaborative approach with excellent communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with quick adaptation to new technologies, methodologies, and systems
  • Experience working within a global agile-based development and QA team Must be a self-starter, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with SQL (Oracle is a plus).

Desired  skills: SoapUI, .Net, CI/CD, Bitbucket

Work Timings*

  • 11 AM – 8 PM IST
  • Ready to work on weekends (if required)
