Business Control Specialist

Fort Worth, Texas;

Job Description:

Provide analytical, administrative support within an internal control environment. Responsible for assisting in the execution of the Operational Risk Program for the Line of Business. Assist team in gathering and organizing data that will help track, report and manage internal control gap issues and mitigation plans. Acts as an ambassador of the risk culture. Incumbents typically have up to 2 years of risk management and/or LOB/ECF experience.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of test script development and implementation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe)
  • Demonstrated ability of using creativity to solve problems
  • Attention to detail with a strong focus on control
  • Well-organized and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter and ability to think and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to identify, resolve or escalate issues in order to ensure that program timelines are met
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with others in different locations
  • Ability to think logically

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of specialty product servicing (Vehicle, Paycheck Protection Program, Balance Assist, Business Advantage Term Loan)
  • Knowledge of issue resolution process (SIAI, RIAI, AIAI)
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge of risk framework
