Global Transaction Services – Business Banking Treasury Sales Analyst

Job Description & Program Overview

Our Global Transaction Services (GTS) business provides liquidity management, payments and receipts, trade and supply chain finance, data driven solutions, foreign exchange and commercial card services to small businesses, middle market companies, multinational corporations, financial institutions and governments around the world.

Business Banking GTS Sales focuses on mid-sized, U.S.-based companies, generally with annual revenues between $5 million and $50 million, by delivering strategic financial advice and solutions to help companies grow, improve cash flow, manage U.S. and international payments, and invest for the future. TSOs and TSAs are aligned by local markets, working in close partnership with BB Relationship Managers.

This opportunity will provide local Treasury Sales Analyst coverage for an average of 300 clients in the local market.  This TSA will partner with Treasury Sales Officers and Relationship Managers.  Key sales activities which drive client satisfaction and responsible growth include client calls, treasury relationship reviews and CashPro demonstrations. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

This Treasury Sales Analyst is responsible for managing day to day operations of the TSA functions, with a focus on:

  • Conducting Treasury Management reviews
  • Demonstrating the capabilities of CashPro to new prospects and existing clients
  • Conferring with TSO, Client Manager, and/or Product Management regarding non-standard pricing and negotiation
  • Taking a lead role in the coordination of complex RFP processes together with the TSO/Client Manager (CM)
  • Routing customer requests to the appropriate TSO/CM for further analysis
  • Preparing presentation documents and assisting in relationship planning, gathering information regarding prospects and
  • updating plan as needed
  • Identify broad treasury opportunities for the team, attain treasury calling goals and consistently understand and manage all complex deals successfully

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 1-3 years of work experience in the treasury management field
  • B.S. or B.A. degree
  • Strong and demonstrated client facing skills; able to clearly communicate and influence clients and business partners over the phone/virtually and in-person
  • Working knowledge of Bank of America operating platforms (IMPACS, Interact, Navigator, GFO)
  • Working knowledge of GTS products, capabilities and applicability to various client segments
  • Understanding of Risk Framework; Proficient in identifying and managing appropriate risk
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with clients to develop new revenue opportunities
  • Effective communication with client and internal business partners, verbally and in written form
  • Ability to identify and escalate potential issues early
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a portfolio of clients
  • Strong organizational skills and time management, including ability to re-direct service work to proper channels
  • Travel 10% of time
