Job Description:

Deputy Operations Manager The Deputy Operations Manager position provides an opportunity to be part of a management team overseeing one of our Nation’s critical infrastructure programs. The Deputy Operations Manager will manage day to day operations and develop new payment solutions to process almost $3T in tax payments annually in a secure, timely and accurate manner. Deputy Operations Manager is accountable for managing all EFTPS payment operations and the introduction of new payment channels into direct taxpayer and third party channels. The Deputy Operations Manager will be responsible for managing incident response across multiple vendors. This role ensures the quality and timely delivery of day to day operations and promoting the continuous improvement of productivity, service quality and customer satisfaction.

Required skills:

  •  Bachelor's Degree
  •  At least 10 years’ experience in payment operations management, preferably related to tax payments
  • Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) Certification preferred
  •   Incident management experience.
  • Fraud experience as it relates to payments.
  •   Detailed oriented, highly organized and articulate
  • Ability to communicate on all levels – operating and executive
  •   Experience with payment processing (ACH a plus)
  • Experience leading on-call teams preferred 
  • Strong understanding of Federal Government preferred
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to perform well in complex stakeholder environment
  • Ability to react well to stressful situations
  • Strong Project Management skills
