About the Role

The Analyst, Treasury Product based in Sydney will be responsible for supporting a team of product managers accountable for the Cash management (Treasury and Trade) suite of products in Australia.  The Analyst will be part of a team that is instrumental in ensuring that the banks suite of GTS solutions continue to be fit for purpose, market relevant and compliant with all laws, rules and regulations

The Analyst will require to work closely with key internal business partners, particularly Sales/ Corporate Bankers, client servicing and fulfillment, operations, compliance, legal and technology etc. to commercialize new product solutions and grow the business, ensure compliance with the regulations, improve operational risk and ensure end to end product delivery and performance to our clients. The candidate will be responsible to drive revenue by teaming up with sales team in creating strategies and initiatives for the same.   

The Analyst, Treasury Sales will primarily:  

  • Assist in building out the banks GTS product suite in line with the bank’s strategy
  • Assist in managing and growing revenues from existing clients
  • There is also the opportunity for direct product management for the right individual

Primary responsibilities will be in supporting the Product Managers and will include:

  • Complete all GTS MIS and Regulatory reporting requirements
  • Assist in the buildout of business cases for funding new initiatives and improve product capabilities
  • Partner with client-facing teammates to consult on sales opportunities and provide the product expertise / demonstrations necessary to deliver the best possible solution to the client.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance & Risk to ensure compliance with all internal and regulatory requirements related to Treasury Management Products.
  • Assist in the pricing for Cash Management products and track the revenues to facilitate product management routines around the product financial life cycle, inclusive of overall revenue and profitability.
  • Assist in identifying macro product trends and work closely with internal partners (Sales, Compliance, Client Delivery, Services and Operations) to help communicate these trends to our clients
  • Create marketing materials and internal publications relating Cash Management Products in Australia
  • Ensure our products are market competitive and compliant both in terms of features, capabilities and pricing.

Required Skills

  • Experience of working in a leading bank or financial services organization for at least 2 years. Experience in transaction banking will be advantageousGood
