Leasing Documentation Specialist

Riverside, Rhode Island;

Job Description:

Prepares, negotiates and reviews documentation for various leasing products, typically under the guidance of senior staff.  Facilitates communication among various parties, such as credit officers, marketing, legal, etc. in order to promptly resolve documentation issues.  Has excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills and is comfortable representing Bank of America in communications with associates and clients. Bachelor degree or 3-5 years of related experience preferred

  • Accurate and timely preparation of documentation, insurance requirements, UCCs, etc., including verification of economics of transaction tailored to specifications and requirements of transactions. Accurate and timely processing of lease and loan transactions on internal systems for funding and booking. Assures all documentation is complete prior to funding.
  • Liaison between and among Documentation Manager, Regional Sales Manager/Sales Associate, Customers, Internal Groups and Vendors regarding transaction status, receipt of related documentation.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with assigned Sales Associate and Customers regarding documentation and relationship issues and handling of Customer's inquiries and concerns.
  • Accurate and timely receipt of requirement follow up items.
  • Performance of maintenance on current portfolio, as needed.
  • Completes various projects as assigned by Manager

  • Ability to set priorities, meet aggressive production goals and deadlines, manage multiple transactions, tasks and projects efficiently and simultaneously in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision. 
  • Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to achieve aggressive production goals and to deliver effective, responsive service to Customers.
  • Consistent follow up techniques.
  • Strong mathematical abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with ability to manage business relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, and be detail oriented.
