Data Engineer III

Job Description:

This position will support the management of all Wealth Management Data for Operational and AML consistency and accuracy of client and account data across the Enterprise. The position is highly technical focusing on data fixes across multiple production platforms, production support, and design and activities. It also requires strong communication and partnerships with the LOB and top level business executives.

  • Lead data fixes for all GWM applications in production environments
  • Develop and maintain scripts and coding for existing processes in production and lower level environments
  • Lead implementation of code changes through MRA process following all testing and release guidelines
  • Serve as a Global Wealth Management Subject matter expert to support research, data patches, escalations, design, and training
  • Partner with the business executives, line of business client teams, other bank employees and regulatory teams to drive data accuracy and correctness
  • Escalation point of contact for high profile clients and executives for data maintenance and troubleshooting production issues
  • Deliver  roll-out through testing,  training, and communications
  • Lead Agile transformation and work flow for GWM data teams
  • Lead communication and meetings for executives and AML LOB business partners of reporting and data correction routines
  • Manage release/change activities for warranty time periods and production support
  • Executes data analysis to drive an accurate and effective client & account environment. Effort includes reporting, running data governance process and managing issues/action plans  
  • Responsible for data analysis, data profiling, data modeling, and data mapping capabilities as well as defining related workflows and business processes

Requirements:

  • 10 + years’ Experience with defining and implementing data management standards in production environments
  • 10 + years’ Executed large project and data corrections in production environments
  • 10 + years’ Production Support, Audits, and code release
  • 10 + years’ Management of AML processes, Core customer data elements, and data quality
  • Direct understanding of Global Wealth workflows, critical business systems, and data elements
  • Results-oriented, diligent, and works with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to think and work across various partners across the firm to deliver highly critical initiative keeping in mind re-usability, scalability and yet deliver in time
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills; balancing client needs with technology  strategic roadmaps
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity, poise, maturity and precision both written and verbal.
  • Strategic mindset, intellectual curiosity with strong analytical skills and financial/business acumen
  • Highly organized professional with ability to prioritize and organize work, manage complexity and deliver solutions on tight deadlines
  • Oracle, SQL, DB2, Teradata, Unix, Advanced MS Office including macros, MS PowerPoint, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Bachelor degree required
