Senior Content Strategist, Experience Design

Bank of America’s Experience Design team includes interaction designers, graphic designers, researchers, strategic designers, design program managers, content strategists, design technologists and other creative professionals. The team is constantly iterating, solving problems, and working together to find ways all our digital platforms can empower customers to reach their financial goals in more customized, intuitive, innovative, engaging, secure, and time-saving ways.

As a senior content strategist, you will

Create visions, concepts, and sell partners on the great work the UX organization does. Be a brand evangelist optimizing for digital interfaces. Develop content strategy based on business goals and user needs optimized for consumption context. Collect and create content inventories from which new content can be created. Audit existing content to determine current performance and opportunities for improvement. Perform gap-analysis to discover room for improvement. Deliver best-fit copy for all types if interfaces and digital experiences. Develop ADA-compliant content solutions.

You’re a person who has

  • 5+ years of UX copywriting content strategy experience.
  • 2+ years of work experience as lead/senior content strategist.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English composition, communications, business, design, or related field – or equivalent experience.
  • Expert in user-centered design methodologies and rapid ideation processes like Lean UX, Design Sprints, and Agile.

A high level of proficiency with using analytics platforms like Adobe Analytics

  • Strong working knowledge of software used by designers and project managers.
  • Familiarity with content testing.

And you are a person who:

  • Is an enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and an intense focus on achieving results.
  • Collaborates effectively to get things done, building and nurturing strong relationships.
  • Is exceptional at problem-solving, issue resolution, and time management.
  • Demonstrates strong listening, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Is a continuous learner who adapts quickly and positively to change.

You’ll be better prepared if you have

  • Master’s degree with compensating experience.
  • Financial, digital agency, or similar industry experience.
  • Project management experience.
