Location: Chester

The GBAM Finance Technology, Data and Strategic Initiatives (TDSI) team are looking for a Project Manager to join their team in the Chester office. This team works closely with partners in Finance, Technology Operations and Front Office organizations to manage and drive a number of strategic Finance projects across all products and businesses.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • This role will initially assist in defining:

    • Strategic data requirements for GBAM Finance

    • Functional requirements for GBAM Finance as part of the Global Markets Front to Back infrastructure

    • Implementing processes to ensure client needs are met / exceeded

  • Gain familiarity and experience of GBAM Finance processes through the above work in order to

    • Be able to lead GBAM Finance strategic programs

    • Provide leadership to GBAM Finance associates in TDSI and other teams on how to design their processes to use the strategic infrastructure

    • Provide leadership in Chester for an expanding TDSI presence

The Team:

  • The team operates both globally and regionally with regional presence in EMEA, US, APAC and a GBS organisation

  • Strategic development is managed globally with engagement across all regions with teams staffed across regions that are able to engage directly with impacted end user and Technology teams

  • Senior members of the team will have interaction with the GBAM Finance Senior Leadership Team, their peers in other CFO organisations and equivalents in Risk and Operations

  • The team expanded to Chester to align with the extensive BFC presence there in 2021

Core Skills:

  • Experience in leading a team with matrix reporting (location leadership)

  • Experience in leading a project or major components of a project

  • Experience in analyzing business processes, including implementing improvements to business process around BAML financial systems for finance and operations functions.

  • Experience in designing and implementing strategic technology change driven by business process requirements

  • Proven ability to collaborate with and influence senior stakeholders from disciplines across CFO, Technology, Risk and Operations
