Vice President, Database and Axiom Lead, Risk & Finance Technology

Your background

  • 10-15 years of IT experience with deep technical knowledge and understanding of finance regulatory reporting requirements for APAC countries.
  • Excellent data modeling knowledge
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Strong technical development experience on, effectively writing code, code reviews, best practices on configuration management.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Informatica, Oracle PL/SQL, UNIX scripting, scheduling tools such as Autosys
  • Minimum 3 year experience in Axiom Product for Finance regulatory reporting and experience to multiple Regulators in APAC.
  • Hands on experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory, Dactical. Experience working in Agile development process and good understanding of various phases of Software Development Lifecycle Relational database experience.
  • Manages Core Technology deliverables and Projects including platform and technology upgrades.
  • Strong technical skills on Oracle Database, Performance Tuning, Architecture
  • Should be able to handle multiple projects, managed teams in on-site - off-site delivery models
  • Demonstrated vendor resource management experience
  • Contributes as an effective team member and takes accountability for deliverables
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior managers

  • In this role you will have a specific focus on architecture standardization and simplification, as well as ownership related to development and creating design, documentation and working with offshore technical team to deliver projects.

  • Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration across multiple projects from definition phase through implementation.
  • Collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm
  • Advanced knowledge of application and data design patterns
  • Defines, communicates and enforces coding standards.
  • Ability to instruct individuals to get best outcomes in various aspects of SDLC.
  • Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Identify and Onboard right talent resources
  • Develop best practices for performance and operational efficiency
  • Provide status reporting regarding services provided by the team
  • Measure the performance and utilization of resources
  • Provide guidance to the team on best practices on the process
  • Provide subject matter expertise, with innovative ideas and collaboration for the development and delivery
  • Manages risks while ensuring optimal value and outcomes are achieved. Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
