Research and Adjustments Representative II

Job Description

Individual Contributor role who resolves research and adjustment inquiries within the bank's practices and procedures. Responsibilities focus on the day to day resolution of problems and execution of transactions within specific operations units requiring immediate and frequent involvement with unit activities. Examples include: reviewing and authorizing General Ledger entries, approving exception processing, reviewing operations procedures and implements changes and ensures the enforcement and adherence to operations procedures.

  • Works on problems or projects of limited scope under close supervision
  • Exercises sound judgment within defined procedures and practices
  • Follows standard procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained
  • Receives detailed instructions on routine work and on new projects or assignments

Required Skills:

  • 1-2 years of experience strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills including attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in high volume environment, adhering to production standards and SLA's set by management
  • Basic understanding of upstream /downstream business partner processes (i.e., IDP, Returns, PSS, TCE, OD Services, IRC, ARP, Lockbox, Vault, Banking Center etc.)
  • Demonstrates thoroughness, accuracy and timeliness; achieving performance metrics on a consistent basis
  • Takes ownership for resolving problems
  • Communicates in a clear and straightforward manner, focusing on key points thorough understanding of the research and adjustments end to end process
  • Demonstrates leadership skills consistently
  • Adaptability to manage multiple tasks/projects within deadline
  • Ability to embrace change with a positive approach
  • Availability to work weekends and/or extended hours as required to run the business
  • Demonstrates ability to juggle competing priorities while executing against deliverables

Desired Skills:

  • 1-2 years of experience within Research & Adjustments
  • Proficient Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Associates degree in business or equivalent combination of related education and/or experience

Initially you may be required to work from home and/or remotely in this role:

  • Internet Service Provider at home (no public WiFi or Internet)(high speed internet access and a secure or password-protected internet connection)
  • Sufficient room to set up a laptop, monitor, keyboard and mouse
  • Comfortable space to work for a full shift
  • Quiet, private and SECURE space in which to work
