Vice President- CashPro User Experience Designer

User Experience Designer - CashPro

The success of Bank of America and Global Transaction Services (GTS) is dependent on the continual enhancement and differentiation in the digital space. CashPro® is Bank of America’s flagship GTS platform for clients ranging from business banking to commercial to large and potentially global corporates.

This Vice President level Experience Designer will focus on all areas of User Experience and User Interface design, including interaction design, visual design and user research. There will be ongoing collaboration with product managers, front-end developers, and business analysts on early stage prototypes up through final product implementation. The CashPro Experience Designer will advocate for what users want, need and expect from the products we develop, and have a knack for translating our strategy and complex business asks into efficient and intuitive user experiences.

Core functions and requirements for the CashPro Experience Designer role:


• Apply user-centered design processes, including design thinking practices, to identify user needs and create compelling solutions in partnership with product managers.
• Have a passion for designing intuitive and cutting-edge solutions in partnership with clients; facilitate continuous client feedback loop to plan, conduct and synthesize user research with the ability to validate early product designs.
• Create wireframes, site architecture, schematics, user workflows, icons, mockups, and working prototypes to document the intended user experience.
• Ensure that established design standards are consistently and appropriately applied within designs
• Enjoy building relationships with teammates across GTS CashPro product management, GTS core product management and GTS sales teams to influence strategic designs for the delivery of best-in-class solutions.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years experience in the UX process
• Portfolio demonstrating fluency in UX / interaction and visual design
• Helps define the ideal user experience
• Makes designs defensible with user research
• Experience building prototypes
• Strong knowledge of design tools (Sketch, InVision, Adobe suite)
• Articulates design decisions
• Anticipates feedback through design critiques
• Undergraduate degree required. Minimum: BS or BA degree

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of Agile design sprint processes
• Knowledge of Treasury Management and digital channels solutions
