Markets Application Production Services Support - CTI

New York, New York

Job Description:

The Markets Application Production Services Support  analyst will be the first point of contact for business requests and reported impact as well as monitoring and alerting of critical trading system environments.

Key responsibilities:

  • Release implementation and post-release testing

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders, application development personnel, and infrastructure contacts

  • Troubleshooting of complex systems issues

  • Proactive identification and resolution of problem hotspots

  • Development of tools and driving efficiency/stability improvements

  • Deliver 1st line support for the Emerging Markets and rates business primarily covering etrading and risk applications

  • The support role requires someone who can work high pressure trading environment and assimilate information from multiple sources quickly

  • The role requires a good problem solver, and someone who can adhere to strict procedures and guidelines which include incident, service request and change management

  • Work closely with Development and infrastructure teams to ensure that issues and defects are reported and actioned and meet business requirements and timelines

  • Coordinate with TI team to address security issues

  • The candidate will be required to look across the entire production environment to aid continuous improvement with the state and supportability of production systems

  • Build and maintain relationships with business users and other stakeholders

Required Skills:

  • Product knowledge – Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities, Credit, Mortgage-backed Securities, Interest Rate Derivatives

  • Incident, Change and Service request management experience

  • Experience in electronic trading and exchange connectivity

  • Market data distribution

  • Risk and P/L delivery experience

Technology Infrastructure Organization:

Participates with Technology management in the development of technology products, service standards and development efforts that impact the client/business area. Serves as a single point of contact and the escalation point between the client/business area and internal management for the resolution of unresolved problems, complaints and complex service requests.
