Mule API Developer - Software Engineer III

Job Description:

This position is in Audit Technology group, developing and supporting applications used by corporate auditors in CACR (Corporate Audit and Credit Review).

The MuleSoft Sr Developer will be Member of a team building a strategic, state of the art brand new auditing platform from scratch. The team is looking for a highly energetic, independent mule/java developer who takes pride in writing high quality testable code.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyze, design, implement and test customized Mule and Java APIs.

  • Strong understanding of software development and design fundamentals and will have experience in working to develop business-critical applications.

  • Rapid design and implementation of complex solutions using Mule and related technologies.

  • Develop solutions and processes for delivering features based on their knowledge of design/architectural patterns and Agile/DevOps practices.

  • Develop technical design documents as per enterprise/group standard.

  • Apply enterprise standards for solution design, coding, and quality.

  • Proven problem-solving techniques, ability to self-manage and mentor others in a team.

  • Ensure solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt.

  • Act as a liaison for production activities/issues.

  • Investigate and recommend best practices and process improvements.

  • Enjoys accountability for meeting all deliverable dates for task assignment.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in Mule API Test Driven Development.

  • Experience in writing T-SQL

  • Designing/implementing and application integration experience in middleware technology (Mulesoft, ESB) and providing API solutions.

  • Strong experience in Application Integration Architecture, Solution Design, and Development using SOA/EAI solutions (with emphasis on Mule).

  • Supports End to End Technology for middleware programs and projects. Core technologies include Mule EBS, Java and Oracle. Partners with Product Owner, Business Stakeholders, Impacted System Owners and Solution Implementation Teams.

  • Should have multiyear experience in working with Agile teams and able to work with onshore and offshore developer.

  • Experience in designing and building micro services and messaging solutions

  • Willingness to learn new technologies

Desired Skills:

  • Financial Services industry experience

  • Experience with Java , Spring, Springboot, and Messaging platform and relational databases

  • Experience with cloud technology
