Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Over 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in banking related products
  • Control focused, highly analytical with attention to details, team oriented
  • Self-driven and comfortable working in a fast paced deadline driven environment
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written in English
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with ability to build and use spreadsheets
  • CPA or CFA preferred but not required.
  • Good working knowledge of accounting concepts
  • Management reporting and analysis experience preferred

What you can expect

The APAC GCIB Finance team carries out the Business Finance functions in support of the regional Investment and Corporate Banking activities. This role will be primarily responsible for supporting Corporate Banking Products, as well as regional management reporting and analysis.

What you will do

  • Business Partnering
    • Advising on business and segment performance, client flows, funding, accounting, and capital
    • Assisting in ad hoc analysis and requests, and business performance presentations
  • Management Reporting and Analysis
    • Financial and country reporting and analysis
    • Analytical review of balance and spread movements, client flows, country and legal views
  • Month-end close and Disclosures
    • Running month-end financial legal close routines
    • Estimating revenues, provisions, and Loan & Deposit balances
  • Core Process & Operational Excellence
    • Flawless execution of BAU processes. Ensure proper controls and procedures are in place. Ensure all front to back flows are understood, and timely resolution of issues
    • Working with Legal Entity Controllers, Operations, and other Stakeholders
  • Finance Initiatives and Projects
    • Delivering key Finance initiatives and team projects
    • Emerging technology automation and process enhancement
  • Team & Training
    • Continuous on the job training and mandatory Compliance training
    • Participating in various Employee Engagement Inclusion Council (EEIC) forums & events, and CFO Learning series
