Your background

The successful candidate will ideally have settlements experience in cash equity products. Experience in SG / HK markets will be added advantage
• Ability to work under pressure
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills as the incumbent would require to connect with external clients
• Good organization skills and ability to prioritize workload
• Public holiday coverage and extend working hours may be required

• VBA (Macro) Coding knowledge / Alteryx Coding experience would be plus

What you can expect

Role is crucial to deliver on the overall management of APAC HK/SG Settlements function.  HK/SG are self-clearing markets for us which makes them both unique and complex to manage.  The HK/SG market is a highly regulated market with one of the maximum regulated functions in the APAC region.  Within BoA there are various initiatives attached to these markets and also including oversight for our Offshore teams.  High level responsibilities include :

  • Market settlement of HK/SG trades across various business lines
  • Client service support for 3PC clients
  • Escalation point for HK/SG settlement issues
  • Review & analysis of new initiatives involving these markets
  • Driving process improvement via robotics & macros

What you will do

• Timely response to queries regarding the settlement of HK/SG trades
• Buy in avoidance for self clearing Markets
• Liaising with other internal departments to ensure timely resolution of  issues so as not to impact market settlement & accurate flow of information to the firm
• Involvement in ad hoc projects for new processes or industry / regulatory initiatives
