Process Overview*

The FAKC (Finance and Accounting Knowledge Center) was set up in 2007 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business and Enterprise Finance functions. The capabilities hosted include Accounts Payable, General Accounting & Reconciliations, Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Financial Transaction Processing, Finance Systems Support and Supply Chain Management. Over the years, the scope of FAKC has been expanded to include operations for other enterprise control functions like Human Resources and Risk and Compliance.

Job Description*

Per the OCC requirement and risk management policy of the Bank, financial performance of all critical vendors providing service to the Bank needs to be reviewed and analyzed periodically. Successful candidate has: knowledge and experience to assess company financials and is familiar with risk rating methodology; is able to present his/her analysis to the management and business partners; and lead the discussion around financial statement of the company during the calls with the vendor. Assist in managerial reporting and quality reviews as well as take part in process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities*

As part of ongoing monitoring of the Financial Viability of all Bank of America Third Party relations, Team is tasked with:

1. Spreading of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash flow statement, Changes in the stockholders equity) over Moody Risk Analyst (MRA)      

2. Analyzing financial statements in the form of Ratio Analysis, identifying financial manipulations, forecasting financial performance to evaluate the Financial/Credit Risk

3. Preparing detailed write up on the financial health and trend of the vendors

4. Assigning Risk Ratings to the vendors of the bank

5. Participating in business review Meetings with CEOs/CFOs/Financial Execs of all Third Parties

6. Managing other due diligence activities

7. Participating in special projects as a project lead or resource without any impact to his/her BAU tasks

Requirements*

Bachelor degree in Commerce, Accounting, Economics, MBA (Finance), CA, CFA, CS, CWA

 Certifications If Any

Experience Range*

Minimum 5 years

 Foundational skills*

•Experience of working on MRA (Moody’s Risk Analyst)

•Experience in Vendor Management / Vendor Risk Domain

•Excellent communication skills

•Good knowledge of MS Office Suite- advanced knowledge of Excel preferred

•Ability to develop process improvements and efficiencies

•Proven ability to apply business knowledge creatively for identification of potential solutions to business issues
