  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills

  • Control focused with a good understanding of risks and the impacts of errors

  • Proficient in using Excel and other MS applications

  • Business level in written and spoken English / Japanese to be able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders

  • Background in Securities Operations is preferable

What you can expect

Japan FICC settlement and client service team provides operational supports to various FICC Sales & Trading desks for institutional clients trading across Japan and global markets.
The team is primarily responsible for settlement, client services and supporting corporate action events.

What you will do

  • Monitor settlement status to make sure all the transactions are settled on time.  Resolution and escalation of any issue to resolve issues in cooperation with sales/trading and other teams in globe to prevent settlement failure.  

  • Timely response to client queries

  • Liaise with sales/trading for any inquiry and issue to resolve in timely manner 

  • Process handling of corporate actions such as coupon/interest and maturity payment

  • Cash payment processes upon necessity

  • Breaks investigation and resolution
