Talent Acquisition Consultant II - Campus Manager - Enterprise Strategy, Diversity Recruiting

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for co-leading the Campus Enterprise Strategy team with a specific focus on Diversity Recruiting. This is a high impact role that will be responsible for developing and implementing a Diversity Recruiting strategy that will put us at a competitive advantage. In addition to executing and influencing the campus strategy across lines of business, the position is responsible for advising the campus managers on diversity events, candidate pipelines, competitor intel, and maintaining strong relationships with our partner organizations and specialty schools to ensure our strategy incorporates market place trends and student sentiment. A deep knowledge of the HBCU landscape is a plus. 

The successful candidate must possess mature and sound judgment, integrity, and self-confidence with a strong desire to succeed. The successful candidate will also have leadership experience where they have a proven track record of generating results aligned to business goals. In addition, they will be comfortable managing a team, partnering across stakeholder groups and presenting to large groups both internally and externally.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Setting and executing the Diversity Recruiting strategy, ensuring alignment to business objectives, strategic priorities and diversity goals.

  • Formulating a “school captain” strategy to drive efficiency & maximum impact.

  • Working with local markets to drive efficiencies and ensure market leaders are informed of engagement opportunities.

  • Leading a high performing team; providing coaching to improve performance and promote individual and team development.

  • Proactively staying abreast of market intel / conditions.

  • Providing advice, counsel and information to the campus managers to enable them to improve their ability to attract and retain strong talent to the firm.

  • Partnering with campus managers to share insight into early career programs across various industries; inform campus practices about best practices to attract diverse talent.

  • Fostering recruiting partnerships with our internal clients, school alumni, HR partners and campus managers.

  • Leveraging recruiting analytics and research to assess and improve current strategy to ensure a world-class practice; ability to take a data driven approach to decision making that informs our current and future plans.

  • Ensuring strong compliance in the hiring process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university

  • 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, program management or campus recruiting

  • 3+ years of experience leading /managing a team 

  • Knowledge of the HBCU/HSI landscape and recruiting lifecycle

  • Excellent client relationship skills.  Business focused proactive approach to recruiting work 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and organizational savvy; listens and communicates in a direct, succinct manner; Able to navigate within a large corporate environment and influence key stakeholders

  • MUST have ability and demonstrated experience to assimilate data into a results-based story and effectively present the results; including the ability to develop concise, effective senior level PowerPoint presentations

  • Strong analytical skills – experience gathering and organizing large amounts of data. Must be HIGHLY proficient with larger volumes of data and reporting

  • Creative thinker with the ability to solve problems

  • Thoughtful and demonstrates good judgment; strong decision-making skills; ethical

  • Strong organizational and project management skills; attention to detail

  • Proven track record as a relationship builder, team player, collaborator, coach, and facilitator

  • Excellent influencing skills with the ability to set and communicate strategy

  • Strong senior stakeholder management skills

  • Unquestionable business and personal integrity, and values congruent with those of the organization
