Position Summary

Sales Client Reference Data team is looking for a seasoned data management professional with experience in data management, quality, governance and strategy.  Ideal candidate is a team leader with a proven ability to effectively collaborate and influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of management to successfully delivery on a comprehensive book of work.

Responsibilities include:

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the Sales Reference data domains (client, account, sales hierarchy, contacts, coverage, segmentation and trade)
  • Act as liaison between business , tech and operational teams to support enterprise data quality
  • Work with the team’s development arm to implement solutions that drive the reference data book of work.
  • Define business requirements in conjunction with key business partners across multiple GBAM LOBs
  • Help manage standards, controls and operating procedures for on-going data cleanup activities to support BAU data maintenance
  • Maintain the Data Quality Metric Dashboard
  • Serve as team Scrum Master and Project Manager to help facilitate the implementation of the teams book of work (both BAU and Project)
  • Prepare and communicate Release notes, key accomplishments, project updates in various formats
  • Attentively pursue data quality issues to their root cause and seek intelligent and automated solutions to improve data quality in conjunction with regional client on-boarding teams.
  • Engage in ad-hoc data projects varying in scope and priority

Required Skills

  • Several years (5-7) of practical, hands-on experience as a data / business analyst with insight into how to improve data quality (both tactically and strategically)
  • Exceptional analytical skills including proficiency in the usage of SQL for data analysis and mining
  • Previous experience with BI Tools (i.e. Tableau etc.) and JIRA a plus
  • Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills
  • The ability to interact comfortably with and gain the confidence of senior managers
  • The ability to function effectively in cross-functional teams to ensure that critical work is owned and completed in a timely manner. Candidate must aptly manage day-to-day interactions and relationships with a diverse group of colleagues across multiple time zones.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferable in Finance and/or Computer Science.
  • Experience working in the Financial Services is desirable
