Product Pricing Manager

Job Description:

The Product Pricing Manager will contribute and participate with the First Mortgage Pricing team performing thoughtful and inventive data analysis and project related support in a fast paced environment with the goal of maximizing profits and asset growth while minimizing risk and financial exposures. Support First Mortgage Pricing operational activities such as managing governance routines, regulatory reviews, vendor management and project related activities to ensure compliance with Bank of America policy and procedures.  Build meaningful relationships with internal partners to drive change and execution.  Take part in the launch of company-wide pilot programs developed as a result of programmed models. May act as an individual contributor or may lead a smaller team in developing and/or influencing best practices or pricing strategies and participates in the creation/enhancement of pricing processes that ensure governance requirements are met.  Duties include the use of discretion, independent judgment, creative thinking, and the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management. Self-starter who consistently looks to improve policies, procedures and strategy to drive efficiencies and operational excellence for the team and the Bank overall.

Required Skills:

  • Data analysis with the ability to perform root cause analysis and clearly summarize findings
  • Ability to lead /manage end-to-end project management within the team, from defining needs and goals, planning end to end process, execution of plan and finally monitoring controls/metrics to keep projects on track as well as post implementation reviews.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Programming Experience (Examples: MicroSoft Sql Server, SAS)
  • Critical thinker; ability to think beyond the data and understand Consumer behavior
  • Good communication skills (Written and Verbal) with ability to simplify complex topics and concepts into Executive level presentations

Desired Skills:

  • SharePoint, Tableau/MicroStrategy, Alteryx experience

Enterprise Role Description:

Responsible for reviewing and pricing products and services. Analyzes the profitability of the client and/or specific services, works up pricing recommendations, and implements and verifies pricing. Must work closely with Product managers on pricing strategies and involve Product managers on deals when necessary. Is responsible for communicating with sales officers and addressing pricing questions and/or issues from the Sales team. Must also be aware of the deal size and arrange for senior management approval calls. May act as an individual contributor or may lead a smaller team in developing and/or influencing pricing strategies and profitability. Provides comprehensive solutions to complex problems or needs. Has extensive technical or functional knowledge of pricing strategies and models.
