Job Title: Regulatory Reporting Specialist

LOB: Global Risk / Global Regulatory Equity Aggregation Team - EMEA

Corporate Title: Up To Vice President

Location: London

A brand new opportunity has become available for a Regulatory Reporting Specialist to join an established team of 8 based in London. This role is responsible for monitoring Bank of America’s positions for the purpose of regulatory shareholder reporting in the EMEA region and the stakeholders include any desk or team that is involved in booking or maintaining equity and equity related positions.

Overview of the Role:

  • Performing daily monitoring and disclosure of positions held by the firm

  • Preparing Large Shareholder, Takeover Panel and Short Selling Reporting as necessary

  • Monitoring firm holdings against regulatory hard limits in sensitive industries

  • Engaging in the analysis of new rules and regulations pertaining to the monitoring and reporting of holdings

  • Close liaison with the Front Office and Compliance Officers to confirm positions and any other issues arising from the holding of stock in a timely manner

  • Liaising with our Technology partners with all matters of system enhancements

  • Responding to issuer requests where applicable

  • Interacting regularly with internal and external stakeholders, including all relevant lines of business, Compliance, Legal, Regulators, etc.

Core Skills:

  • Previous experience in preparing and submitting Large Shareholder, Takeover Panel and Short Selling disclosures is required

  • Attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines is a must

  • Understanding and exposure to equity products with a good knowledge of Financial Markets is preferred

  • Business Analyst experience with Technology development team is advantageous

  • Good technical skills especially in Microsoft Excel with good experience in analysing and reporting large sets of data

  • Confident verbal and written communication skills

  • A clear an logical thinker who can show initiative to react quickly to changes in priorities
