Cyber Security and Network Sr. Leader

Job Description:

The Cyber Security and Network Sr. Leader will be leading various aspects of the delivery of the Network Services Transformation program. Providing enhanced coordination of critical elements of the program including scoping technical and process work streams, documenting requirements to drive automation, identifying success criteria, defining the value to be delivered as well as the desired outcome. Serve as a senior SME of the “end to end” goals of the program and how to plan/build/transition network support of both production support and project execution activities. Facilitate interactions both internal and external to Network Services in order to establish and drive the program. Provide oversight of the program as well as the technical requirements to transform the network activities through automation and process reengineering. The candidate needs to have an in depth understanding of both insourced and outsourced network support models, global follow the sun support models, and should incorporate an industry perspective on how to transform network technology support within a large financial institution while causing zero interruptions to the clients.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Project / program and people management

  • Strong technical background in technology infrastructure and ability to understand and be conversant with newly emerging technologies

  • Experience in Cyber Security and Network infrastructure

  • Experience with delivering large projects and programs including network transformation, information security related initiatives, and change the bank methodologies

  • Strong communication (both written and oral) / interpersonal skills, confident and effective/ calm communicator in both technical and business forums

  • Proven ability to turn complex ideas into well-structured processes and presentations

  • Strong data analysis skill set to drive insights and inform recommendations

  • Highly motivated, creative, analytical thinker with excellent documentation skills

  • Strong business partnership skills – Able to build broad-based business relationships across the organization and skillfully influences colleagues to promote ideas

  • Strong business acumen, specifically in supporting a technology organization

  • Highly organized and efficient individual possessing the ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail/accuracy

  • Ability to manage, identify and escalate resource constraints, risks and issues, schedule conflicts and competing priorities

  • Time to market approach, capable of exceeding the expectations of clients

  • Diversified knowledge of infrastructure and comfortable managing infrastructure projects with good understanding of business flow

  • Able to work well with people from various background and able to appreciate differences in the diverse environment

  • Excellent time management skills

Directs, manages, plans and administers the operational and administrative activities of the Systems Engineering section. Supports multiple systems through maintenance, modification, problem resolution, etc. to support ongoing delivery of services and/or operations. Manages multiple applications/development projects, or single major complex initiatives if a small area of the development function. Coordinates resources across various applications, operations or projects. Responsible for staffing, performance management and compensation decision-making. Manages budget, monitors progress and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly. Provides input on policy issues. Typically 7-10 years of experience in managing and directing multi-project development teams
