Job Title: EMEA Equity Swaps Trade Support Analyst

LOB: Middle Office Trade Control

Here in our King Edward Street office, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our Equity Swaps Trade Support desk, as an Analyst. You will be joining a dynamic team of 9 and will be aligned to the Swaps Trading Desks in both London and Paris.
 

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Performing Lifecycle events on swaps

  • Corporate Action events processing (elections and bookings)

  • Provide extended client service for swap queries through the ‘Follow the Sun’ model

  • Single Stock and Index dividend reconciliation vs hedges

  • Rate and price fixings

  • Process dividend payments and FX currencies

  • Conduct investigations into any discrepancies in the P&L statements

  • Build robust operation controls in place for risk monitoring

  • Query resolution via a query management tool

  • Maintaining a process improvement mentality and constantly seeking out better/more efficient ways of working

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with Technology, Front Office, Operations and relevant stakeholders

The Team:

The Equity Swaps Trade Support team provide cover and support to a variety of Trading Desks across the Equities Division including; flow, yield enhancement and Delta 1 desks, with crossover into more structured and exotic products.

Core Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal

  • Prior experience working within a Middle Office or Corporate Actions function would be advantageous, however not essential

  • Close attention to detail required

  • Effective time and deadline management skills essential

  • Strives to bring new thoughts and ideas to teams in order to drive innovation and unique solutions

  • Excels in working among diverse viewpoints to determine the best path forward

  • Experience in connecting with a diverse set of clients to understand future business needs – is a continuous learner

  • Commitment to challenging the status quo and promoting positive change.
