Business Support Manager - DAIT

Job Description:

Position Summary

Business Support Manager for DAIT who will provide business support to technology executives in Data, Analytics & Insights Technology DAIT, including, but not limited to: financial management oversight, resource strategy, talent planning, leadership meeting planning and execution, team routines, workspace governance and organizational health.
 

This role will partner with Technology Executives and other Business Support Managers (BSMs) in DAIT to analyze financials (base and initiative) to drive business decisions; coordinate monthly and corporate forecasting process and reporting in partnership with Finance, COO and Forecast Practitioners; ensures consistent practices around key processes and serves as the point person for coordination of business activities including financial control/budgeting, personnel processes, workspace, resource strategy, hiring and communication; articulates risks and opportunities to forecast; partners with the COO and Finance to provide transparency across the portfolio around variances between actuals and forecasts and between quarterly forecasts; and conducts ad-hoc analysis and reporting on a range of topics (e.g., personnel, cost to serve, etc.), as needed.

Required Skills/ Experience

- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Financials oversight.

- Strong analytical, financial management and organizational skills with a focus on attention to detail; background in financial reporting - Base and/or Initiative
- Ability to decompose complex issues and drive timely decisions, knowing when to engage others for additional input and when to act independently
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills and executive presence
- Advanced/Expert MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Extremely organized/excellent time management skills
- Ability to think strategically across the organization to identify opportunities to improve overall performance efficiency
- Experience with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, PMMT, PCM, and RMP.

- Prior experience in finance or business support
- Prior experience handling multiple facets of an end to end business: financial management, project management, governance, operations and technology management, and strategy initiatives
