Sr Data Technology Analyst

Job Description:

Enterprise Data Management Operations (EDMO) is accountable for managing a point of view (POV) on the health of data across the BAC enterprise. A data risk framework, enterprise defined data domains and testing results are used to inform this POV. This will drive improvements to the way the EDMO validates control effectiveness. Specifically, this role will partner with business and technology subject matter experts to collect information about services, processes and the data flow through systems, including contingency environments. Primary responsibilities include data gathering, descriptive and predictive analysis, and presenting results to enterprise leadership.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 4-5 years Data/Business Analyst experience
  • 5+ years SQL, coding, queries, data analysis, modeling
  • Subject matter expert in resiliency and records data, metadata, critical services and domain
  • Organized, detail oriented
  • Analytical thinker with experience in data analysis, metrics creation
  • Willing to take ownership of highly-visible and mission-critical data, with legal and regulatory impacts
  • Ability to communicate clearly and escalate as needed to maintain defensibility of data and reporting/management process
  • Tableau Data visualization expertise
  • The ability to prioritize work load essential for success

Desired Skills

  • Prior Bank of America experience in a technical organization
  • Microsoft SQL Server, Excel, Office and SharePoint
  • Data analysis skills required include, Time Series Forecasting, Text Analytics/NLP, Clustering, Regression, and Classification
  • Familiarity with Records and Information Management System (RIMS), data management, data governance and/or content management experience a plus.

Enterprise Role Summary:

Understands and works across teams on all downstream provisioning requirements for the domain. Assists with an inventory of all applications in the data flow for the domain. Supports data domain adherence to EDM Standards, including implementation and monitoring of all required transport controls and maintenance of all required metadata. Assists in remediation of data incidents.
